Another great slow cooker recipe.
Pot Roast Chicken with Veggies
4-5 med potatoes, cut into chunks
4-5 carrots, sliced
1 lg onion chopped
(1/2 tsp. cream of tarter mixed with water)
1 10 3/4 oz can of cream of mushroom soup
1/2 C. water
4 boneless Chicken Breast
1 tsp. salt
1/8 tsp. pepper
1. Be sure and mix up 1/2 tsp of cream of tarter with some water and put your cut potatoes in this water. Swish around a bit and then drain water off the potatoes.(this will help keep the potatoes from during dark) Then add the potatoes to the large slow cooker.
2. Next you will add the carrots and onions to the slow cooker.
3. In small bowl mix soup and water, salt, and pepper. Spoon 1/2 mixture over veggies.
4. Place chicken over soup and veggies.
5. Add remaining soup over top.
6. Cover and cook on high 4 hours or low 7-8 hours - or until veggies are done.
