Through It All

So I was looking through my "Drafts" cause there was a post that I had thought I had started, but apparently had not. Anyway I found this - and thought - wow- this so describes what I have been through the last several years. Even more true now than when I had first got this ready. Anyway - this is the right time to share it. We will have tears and sorrows - but through it all we will learn to depend up His word! Praise be to God. :O)

Through It All

I've had many tears and sorrow,
I've had questions for tomorrow,
There've been times I didn't know right from wrong;
But in ev'ry situation God gave me blessed consolation
That my trials come to only make me strong.

Through it all, Through it all,
I've learned to trust in Jesus,
I've learned to trust in God;
Through it all, Through it all,
I've learned to depend upon His Word.

I've been to lots of places,
And I've seen a lot of faces,
There've been times I felt so all alone;
But in my lonely hours, Yes, those precious lonely hours,
Jesus let me know that I was His own.

Through it all, Through it all,
I've learned to trust in Jesus,
I've learned to trust in God;
Through it all, Through it all,
I've learned to depend upon His Word.

I thank God for the mountains,
And I thank Him for the valleys,
I thank Him for the storms He bro't me through;
For if I'd never had a problem
I wouldn't know that He could solve them,
I'd never know what faith in God could do.

Through it all, Through it all,
I've learned to trust in Jesus,
I've learned to trust in God;
Through it all, Through it all,
I've learned to depend upon His Word.

  1. Hi Lisa! Wow, this song by Andre Crouch really describes a tough journey...you must have thought that he wrote it just for you. And I have come to really appreciate Corrie ten Boom this year. Before entering the blog world, I had never even heard of her!

    Here we are into the month of May. I hope you will find your heart lifting in the spring season. And that you will feel stronger and stronger.
    Blessings!
