Just wanted to take a few minutes to check in and let you all know how things are going. My husband is doing pretty good. Today he was able to take the Ace bandage that was around his entire leg. There is bruising and swelling but he is SO thankful for only have a small bandage on it. He's getting around a little better today- but still having to use crutches- he has a can from a surgery in the past - so when he is ready he can start using it. The first day he tried to go over to the cane WAY too fast and was over doing it and ended up having to call Dr office. So he is doing better at not over doing it.
As you all know we got quite a bit of rain last week - so I was not able to get the yard mowed. But today I was finally able to get it done and I am so happy about it. I will need to go out and get some weed eating done later today and probably some tomorrow- to really have things look good. But I am glad that I was able to get that done. My son mowed the front yard for me.
The temps are getting back to normal Texas summer heat...and we are thankful for our AC.
I better get off of here. Lots to do!

Been mostly off line the past three weeks, so didn't know about your husbands surgery. So glad he is healing, and hope it continues!
