Reading a New Book - Highly Recommended

This week I have begun reading a new book. Shades of Grace by Ty Gibson. It is an excellent book.
What I am finding the more that I am reading and learning about grace - the more I notice that it is intertwined with the love of God. And this is most excellent since this is an area in which I struggle sometimes.  So it seems the perfect timing for me to be focused on learning about grace.

I have only read the first chapter in this book and I love it. Hope you are blessed as well! :O)

“ God wants for us to feel after Him and find Him because He loves us with all the energy of His divine being. It is the nature of His love to continually reach out of Himself in tireless effort to secure our eternal happiness, which is only possible as we embrace His love and allow it to flow freely out of our lives to Him and all others.”

~ Ty Gibson in his book “Shades of Grace” excellent book- highly recommended!

And He has made from one blood every nation of men to dwell on all the face of the earth, and has determined their preappointed times and the boundaries of their dwellings,
27 so that they should seek the Lord, in the hope that they might grope for Him and find Him, though He is not far from each one of us;
Acts 17:26-27 NKJV

An I Love You...Eight Years Later

In 2010 I posted A Tale of Two Black Trucks.

So about a week or two ago I was looking through some photos - I totally forgot what I was looking for at the time - but I came across these photos of a wreck that my boys were in. I already knew that God had been watching out for them. My youngest son - who was in the passenger seat - miraculously had the seatbelt released before he was squashed by the seatbelt. And neither of them got hurt that seriously - especially when you see the damage done to the vehicle.

As I was looking at the photos I noticed something I had never noticed before.
Do you see it?
Here is a close up:
It's a heart where one of the fog lights used to be.
Isn't it amazing?

I thought this is an "I Love You!" for sure.

Anyway I just wanted to share with you all today.

I think that one day we will be so surprised at what all we have been saved from. And I think that if we pay attention we will see God's hand at work in our lives.

And something that one of our old pastors used to say:
"Your eternity is God's priority"

Remember that! :O)

Have You Ever Wondered?

Have you ever wondered how much you mean to Jesus Christ? Have you ever wondered how much He loves you? Well just listen to this song. There is no need to make any changes to yourself or your thinking before you go to Jesus- He accepts you just the way you are!!! Open your heart to Him and allow Him to love you and to fill that empty place inside!!

I had never heard this song before yesterday morning- when the alarm went off - just a minute later this song came on and as I laid there I listened to the song and was SO blessed. I have to admit that I have struggled with doubting if I am truly loved by Jesus Christ! And truth be told- sometimes I still find myself with those doubts but I know that those thoughts are from the adversary. Remember he is "seeking whom he may devour"?  And one way he tries to do that is to convince us that we are not truly loved by our creator. But he is wrong. We are loved beyond what words can even describe.

"Be sober, be vigilant; because your adversary the devil, as a roaring lion,
walks about, seeking whom he may devour:"
1 Peter 5:8

But God demonstrates His own love towards us,
in that while we were still sinners, Christ Died for us.
Romans 5:8

“For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life."  John 3:16

37 Yet in all these things we are more than conquerors through Him who loved us.

38 For I am persuaded that neither death nor life, nor angels nor principalities nor powers, nor things present nor things to come,

39 nor height nor depth, nor any other created thing, shall be able to separate us from the love of God which is in Christ Jesus our Lord.
Romans 8:37-39
