Psalms 40:1-3
Lately I am finding myself being knocked to the ground every time I turn around. Each time I think, 'it can't get any worse than this" and then guess what? Yep - something happens and it is like I have been punched in the stomach and I am struggling to catch my breath. But I have been amazed that God has given me strength to endure each new trial. Just like the verse above. Not sure if I am at the point of having the new song, but I trust that God will be faithful and fulfill His word.
"And He said to me, "My grace is sufficient for you, for My strength is made perfect in weakness." Therefore most gladly I will rather boast in my infirmities, that the power of Christ may rest upon me." 2 Corinthians 12:9
