Just a bit of my testimony that I feel led to share today.
"None of that had the power to push Paul off his path."
This is just one of the reminders that I have on my bathroom mirror. And for 18 months I experienced the same thing.
God performed an amazing miracle in my life in Dec 2024. Over the last 22 months I have felt so many attacks (1 Peter 5:8), from so many directions, but for the first 18 months I felt the joy of what God had done. Sadly in about June (im realizing now, as I look back) I lost the joy and excitement and ive been struggling to get it back. I realized that it was God who had not only changed my life and had given me the ability to make the changes necessary and had helped me every step along the way, but He had also been the One to give me that joy. And He would be the only one able to restore it!
Friday night as I was reading in my Celebrate Recovery devotional, I found the secret and I wanted to share that with you today.
"If we will put the faith that we have in Jesus, our lives will be changed. ...
~Let's look at what the word HOPE means.
H~ stands for "Higher Power." The only true Higher Power is Jesus Christ.
O~ stands for "open to change."
P~ stands for "power to change."
E~ stands for "expect to change."
We must not give up until we receive our miracle from God. Our faith assures us that He exists and that He has the power to help us overcome the hurts, hang-ups, and habits that have ruled our lives."
"If you have faith as small as a mustard seed, you can say to this mountain, 'Move from here to there," and it will move. Nothing will be impossible for you." Matthew 17:20
Once I read this devotional and copied all these quotes into my journal and wrote out my thoughts on it, I began to feel the joy return and I'm SO very grateful!
God is still a miracle working God - and what i have found to be true is that when you surrender your life to Him, He is able to do amazing things! If He can do it for me I'm sure He can do it for you!
May you be blessed abundantly!
