Diadem of Beauty
"In that day shall the LORD of host be for...
a diadem of beauty, unto the residue of his people."
Isaiah 28:5 KJV
- Name of God the Father
- God is referred to as a "diadem of beauty" once in the KJV.
- A diadem is usually taken to mean a crown, but might also be translated as "a jeweled metal band worn around the head." It might also refer to a halo effect around one's head.
Isaiah tells the people of Ephraim not to be too full of themselves (or their own wine). To God should go the praise for their prosperity. He is the Diadem of Beauty, and later Isaiah says the faith shall be "a crown of glory" and a "royal diadem" )Isaiah 62:3 KJV).
So that's how to sparkle! In living lives of adoration, we become jewels (tiny but nonetheless valuable) on the Diadem of Beauty that is our Marker.
Im gonna have to check this one out :-) thanks
