When thinking about the Sermon on the Mount usually, well at least for me, we think of the Beatitudes, but there is so much more to the Sermon on the Mount than the Beatitudes. In fact it goes on for a couple of chapters and this passage in the Scriptures in Matthew and in Luke that we have been looking at this week is the ending of the Sermon on the Mount.
I would like to suggest that we don't just read the Sermon on the Mount but that we live out the Sermon on the Mount - that way we can be doers of the word and not hearers only.
