Magic Potion

On Facebook I saw a post that shared about a Magic potion that is suppose to get rid of cancer.
Well truthfully I see all sorts of things that claim to get rid of cancer- I am sure some of the things might actually really help but other things...who really knows.

Well when I saw this recipe, I knew it was something that would be good for me no matter what - so I decided to try it out today.

So this recipe said to use:

1 beet root
1 carrot
1 apple
1 lemon

Wash everything really good and then cut stuff up. And put into your juicer.

Well I did and this is what I ended up with:
And to be very honest with you all- it was VERY lemony! I will probably use only 1/2 lemon on any other batches that I make. I might even try some spinach in with it also. That might help balance our that lemon.

Anyway I just wanted to share just in case someone else would be interested in trying this "magic potion." I for one will probably do it ever so often - but I don't like to juice a lot because by juicing you take away the fiber and the fiber is important for us as well.

Hope you all have a great day! :O)

    1. Lauren - Let me know if you try it and what you think. I will probably be trying it again this week with less lemon and I will let you know what I thought of it with less lemon. Have a great day! Lisa :O)

  2. I think it sounds a very healthy drink and if you enjoy it all the better. I put my juicer away as it took up so much space, but my husband - said the same as you - that he would rather eat the fruit because of the fibre! Andrina xxx

    1. Andrina~ I will probably be trying it again this week with less lemon and see how much I enjoy it. I think I will probably juice ever so often but not all the time. I can understand about all the room the juicer take- plus then the clean up - it take quite a bit of time to take it apart and clean. Hope you all are doing well~ Lisa :O)

  4. Hi Lisa! I do not have a juicer, but if I did, I'd try this. I'd probably cut back on the lemon too, it might be too tart for me. Why not drink it on occasion? It certainly does look healthy!
The color is amazing too :)

    1. Ceil~ I will be juicing ever so often - just not all the time. There is just a lot of wastage - at least it seems. I will be trying this juice again this week with less lemon - I will try to remember to share what I think of it with less lemon. Oh the color is great! I look forward to getting to enjoy it with less tartness. Hope you are doing well! Lisa :O)
